It comes with shock how the distinguished District Chief Executive of the Birim North District has suddenly turned into a canker.
The honourable member, who happens to be a government representative in the district has resorted to draining the state through dubious means.
It is surprising to know that, Hon. Raymond Nana Damptey has deliberately decided to rent and be sleeping in hotels every single day at the expense of the state, instead of the accommodation secured for him by the state.
By implication, the state is already paying for an accommodation for the said DCE and yet he exits Abirem to Akim-Oda every single day to sleep in a hotel.
As an inhabitant of the district, it is very appalling that the very person in charge of security in the district does not play his role the way he is expected to. Under a system that seeks to drive out corrupt acts and corrupts officials, I condemn these acts of the DCE unequivocally and call on the right quarters to bring him to order.
As if that is not enough, Honourable Raymond goes ahead to incite violence against Party leaders in the region. It is very pathetic how this man treats die-hard grass-root members of the party whose toils brought power to the elephant fraternity.
The DCE, who was outside the country during campaigns and elections prior to the 2016 victory of the New Patriotic Party has resulted to violence and has no regard for party members.
The actions and in actions of the Chief Executive of the Birim North district, who has vowed not to even give ear to any government official is burdening we party executives and members, and we can therefore, not bear with him any longer.
We call on the Regional Minister and other appropriate stakeholders to call Raymond Nana Damptey to order and as well, orient him on how to relate with party members before the unexpected happens.
