DSTV Suport It’s Subscribers

MultiChoice Group which owns Dstv said in a statement said “Staying informed about the latest news on the [coronavirus outbreak] is the first step in stopping its spread,” With this viewers will have access to international broadcasters like BBC World, CNN and Euronews Now, and also get access to local channels: eNCA, SABC News, Newzroom Afrika.

The channels will be available through DStv Now and MultiChoice’s online streaming platform that are available on PCs, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and Xbox consoles, the company said.

Introduction of Learning TV Channel Live on DStv and GOtv platforms

MultiChoice Ghana Ltd has partnered with the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) to support the distribution of the Ghana Learning TV channel on both DStv and GOtv platforms from 14th April 2020 to allow Ghanaian learners access to GES approved educational content.

The introduction of this new learning channel on DStv and GOtv comes on the heels of the launch of Mindset Pop, launched by Multichoice across Africa, dedicated to Primary School learners with key focus on the Class 1-6 curriculum.

Ghana Learning TV is a 24-hour free-to-air channel launched by the Ministry of Education and the GES dedicated to broadcast of educational materials for senior high school (SHS) students, while content for the Junior High School (JHS) and basic school students will follow in due course.

Managing Director, MultiChoice Ghana, Cecil Sunkwa-Mills, believes the introduction of the learning channel on DStv and GOtv platforms will afford all learners who are home to continue learning amidst the partial lockdown.
