Joy FM’s Dinner Dance: Kojo Antwi promises night of intimacy

Mr. Music Man, Kojo Antwi, has promised a night of intimacy for all couples at the Joy FM’s Lovers Dinner Dance.

Speaking at a press conference to launch the event, the Maestro said February 14 will be a night where patrons get to enjoy not only quality, excellent music, and theatrics but get to bond with him as well.

“The venue [Kempinski] keeps me closer to the audience, I get to interact with them and they get to be with me and see the band perform up close, it makes the experience more enjoyable,” he stated.

Kojo Antwi added, “my music is made for such occasions [lovers dance], everything is carved, written and arranged for the moments we will have at Kempinski.”

Mr. Music Man said he will not only perform some of his classics like “Amirika,” “Nfa Me Nkᴐ  Hᴐ,” “Densu,” and “Adiepena,” but also some of his new creations [not yet released] like ‘Akyekyedeԑ ’ featuring Stonebwoy.

In a follow-up interview on Joy FM Kojo Antwi encouraged patrons to send him the songs they would like him to perform for their spouses to help make the show more relatable and enjoyable.

“One time when I performed at Kempinski, I came as a chef and shared menus which had a list of my songs and at the request of one audience at a time, I performed the songs,” he stated.

“Patrons will enjoy a night of good music and theatrics,” he added.

Mr. Music Man brings to patrons a blend of Ghanaian highlife, Congolese soukous, Caribbean lovers rock, with a dash of African American soul and R&B.

For a cool ₵800 per couple – dressed in anything nice with a touch of red -, a cliquey atmosphere of music, good food, drinks, and people await lovers on Valentine’s Day with Mr. Music Man.

There are a lot of surprises waiting for patrons at Kempinski on Valentine day at 7:00 pm.
