Dating is one of the major causes of delayed marriages…
Someone will start dating at the age of 19 and say they are studying each other to get married, are you really ready for marriage? You date for a period of 3 years and the “feeling” you have for them is no more and you think you have fallen out of love.
You may also just find out some characters like, “the guy is boring, the girl is stubborn, etc” and due to what the world has made us believe – “compatibility ” you think the person is not your “soulmate” so you break up!
Now you are 22. You start dating again and perhaps, the person treats you same as your ex, or is a very good person but he may not fit your “physical request” (you considered him or her to date them).
Then after another 2 years you meet someone you think fits all you want and so you break up with the previous one, now you are 24yrs.. You start dating this man or woman and you are so happy, perhaps you plan to marry at 26, now you don’t make your intentions known.
You date for 2 years and you start talking about marriage and the person says he or she is not ready yet and that they will be ready in 5 years time. Because you don’t want them to feel bad or because you think you love them, you agree to stay for the 5 years. After 5 years; you are 29.
You talk about it and they start acting up, disrespecting you, etc then you decide to walk away!
Now you have to start all over! You may even decide to use 6 months to heal from the pain😂😂😂… then when you start again you become so protective over your heart cos you don’t want to get hurt.
If luckily all things work out, you date for 2 to 3 years before you marry cos you wanted to be too sure the person is real… you are 32 years now.
If you are a lady your biological clock is ticking, if you are a man you may have pension babies, so that even when you are retired from work, you still have to be working to cater for your kids…
Guys stop wasting your time dating, you don’t need forever to know someone, and you don’t have to date when you are not ready, Do the right thing at the right time!
