Good day Ghana. There are certain things going on in this country which are very bad and must be condemned and punished outright.
Why is it that the government agenda of STOP ILLEGAL MINING(GALAMSEY) NOW is gradually becoming difficult to achieve just because some government appointees are not in support of this idea. The OPERATION VANGUARD group who are in the ABIREM CONSTITUENCY (BIRIM NORTH DISTRICT), who are also under the Powers and Authority of the DCE, Hon. Remond Nana Damptey, in the District/Constituency are doing things wrongly and it is very bad and does not speak well of the government as well as the party in general.
There is an incident that happened about four(4) or five(5) days ago in the District/Constituency which is very bad and since Mr. President is an action man, I am pleading with him to take an action with immediate effect to serve as a warning to others and also redeem his reputation and the image of the government as well as the party as a whole.
The OPERATION VANGUARD group in about three(3) or four(4) days ago arrested some people who are motor riders at a town called MPINTIMPI in the District/Constituency. They arrested eight(8) of them and ceased their motorbikes and collected GH¢2,200 from the motor riders before giving back their motorbikes to them.
Their charge(s) was/were that they send the galamsey operators to the galamsey site while they don’t have evidence.
Again, they went to the site to arrest the suspects at the site which they believe to be doing illegal mining and also charged them an amount of money and let them go scot free.
My questions are as follows;
- Are the Operation Vanguard group helping the people to continue with the illegal mining or what? I mean are they now supporting galamsey operation in the District/Constituency? If Yes, they should officially let us know
- The money they have collected from the motor riders as well as the suspected galamsey operators, are they giving the money to the government or they are putting the money in their pocket?
- Are they doing this in collaboration with the DCE, Hon. Remond Nana Damptey, to be collecting those monies from the people?
- Are they not in the District/Constituency under the Powers, Authority and Care of the DCE? Can the DCE deny the fact that he is not aware of what is going on? It is impossible
- Are the Operation Vanguard group suppose to handover the arrested illegal miners to the appropriate authorities for the law to work or they are suppose to take the law into their own hands and beat the suspects till the time they wound or kill some of them?
- Are the Operation Vanguard group there to fight illegal mining or to involve themselves in chieftaincy issues in the District/Constituency?
The Community I am talking about is PRANKESE a very Strong hold town in the Constituency for the NPP. Because of that there is NO PEACE in the town and the youth are planning to take the law into their own hands to defend themselves to resist any oppressors rule as the constitution says, so Mr. President should take immediate action before it gets out of hands.
Mr. President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo (Addo show boy), should take immediate action for the people to regain their trust and confidence. There is a lot of apathy and dislikes in the constituency by the people especially party faithfuls in the constituency/district.
Diminishing Marginal returns has set in the Constituency/District as I speak now so if there is any doubt Mr. President should send independent investigators who are trustworthy to the Constituency/District to ask the people in the Constituency/District if what I am saying is true or false.
The DCE cannot deny the fact that he is not aware of what they are doing because they are not there on their own but are under the DCE. If he says he is not aware then he is not on top of issues in the District as well as not performing his supervisory rule very well which is MONITORING & EVALUATION.
If he cannot perform his supervisory rule then he is not qualified and ready to hold that big position because as the DCE, it involves a lot of supervisory duties. This is PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE on his side and he should be held accountable to that and an action should be taken against him by Mr. President. He must be DISMISSED/SACKED with immediate effect within the shortest possible time in order to bring back the reputation of the government and the party as a whole.
Mr. President (Addo show boy), this is the time the people of ABIREM CONSTITUENCY/ BIRIM NORTH DISTRICT needs you most and they want to feel your presence.
Mr. President, remember that ABIREM CONSTITUENCY has been a strong hold of the party since 1992 and we should not joke with the people because now, electorates are discerning.
When the people needs your present to rescue them and you pretend not to hear; when the time is due, they will also pay you back by also pretending. To this effect, there should be an action now for the people to know and see with their naked eyes.
ABIREM CONSTITUENCY/ BIRIM NORTH DISTRICT DESERVE BETTER AND NOT TO BE TREATED LIKE SLAVES IN OUR BACKYARD AND NOT EVEN WHEN OUR PARTY IS IN POWER.
NEVER! NEVER!! NEVER!!!
The people of ABIREM CONSTITUENCY/ BIRIM NORTH DISTRICT should be rescued from this OPPRESSORS RULE before it becomes TOO LATE.
THE PEOPLE CANNOT BE SLAVES UNDER THEIR OWN PARTY AS WELL AS WHEN THEIR FATHER IS IN POWER/ IN CHARGE OF AFFAIRS
There should be dismissal/ sacking of the person in charge whom the Operation Vanguard group is under his watch to serve as a deterrent to others who are also doing same.
Some people are using their office to abuse others as well as bringing the reputation of the government, party and Mr. President down which is very very bad.
To conclude, I want the best for Mr. President, the government, the party and the country as a whole. Mr. President cannot fall victim to some people’s wrong doings.
I am being a CITIZEN but not a SPECTATOR as Mr. President said.
